After 6 played minutes Guillotière got a freekick which was hit by Jérôme Obry. The long shot by Flavian Touret in the 8th minute really tested Jean-Pierre Dhainaut's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Aimé Corbel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guillotière's supporters rose to their feet, but Aimé Corbel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desire Paulus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 minutes, Carlos Lienhardt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moulineaux and the Guillotière players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Moulineaux's Bastien Fauvet got a free kick in the 19th minute. If Aimé Corbel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul-Henri Coudurier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Pierre Dhainaut having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Guillotière was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mounir Gaud to maneuver through the defense. Paul-Henri Coudurier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Degrémont kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Moulineaux's Flavian Touret broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Moulineaux's zone, Aimé Corbel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desire Paulus came out of the goal and Aimé Corbel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Desire Paulus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amaury Defossez in the 53rd minute of play. Moulineaux's Desire Paulus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Moulineaux from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Guillotière booed when Moulineaux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Lienhardt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aimé Corbel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Desire Paulus made a huge save. 58 minutes into the match, Guillotière's Amaury Defossez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desire Paulus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aimé Corbel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Desire Paulus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dilan Chiron in the 72nd minute of play forced Guillotière's goalkeeper Jean-Pierre Dhainaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dilan Chiron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Dilan Chiron sped through Guillotière's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jean-Pierre Dhainaut. 84 minutes into the match, Guillotière's Jules Batt broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide.
