When Jean-Pierre Loupias fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mezelly's protests and gave Jean-Pierre Loupias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute Joel Deneuville shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josselin Petitdemange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Vosves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Deneuville to maneuver through the defense. Joel Deneuville sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vivien Chamand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Josselin Petitdemange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vivien Chamand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Régis Valentini notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Vosves's Stephane Bordes. Stephane Bordes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Vosves's zone, Jean Marchadier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stephane Bordes came out of the goal and Jean Marchadier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Vosves's Joel Deneuville fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Jean Marchadier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Stephane Bordes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Deneuville sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vosves were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
