Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Teddy Clave kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rochère's zone, Fabien Darbon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charly Maingot came out of the goal and Fabien Darbon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Terry Riguet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 18 minutes, Fabien Darbon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mont's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabien Darbon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabien Darbon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Mont's goal looked a bit too open when Sébastien Fanton came free, but Martial Jenny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mont getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Terry Riguet hit a great ball. Martial Jenny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddy Clave in the 26th minute of play. Charly Maingot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malik Fargues in the 30th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Malik Fargues kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Charly Maingot. That made the score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. Mont's Malik Fargues got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martial Jenny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teddy Clave in the 38th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mont defense, Teddy Clave kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martial Jenny. The Mont fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martial Jenny should have stopped the shot. Mont's Martial Jenny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teddy Clave in the 41st minute of play. Martial Jenny came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rochère's Sébastien Fanton. But to his dismay, Sébastien Fanton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The supporters of Mont booed when Rochère was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lilian Révillon didn't get a good kick on the ball.
If Malik Fargues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Mont's goal looked a bit too open when Teddy Clave came free, but Martial Jenny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Malik Fargues in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charly Maingot saved Rochère from getting behind. If Fabien Darbon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Malik Fargues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charly Maingot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martial Jenny didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 75th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Jean-Baptiste Alard hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Jean-Baptiste Alard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Charly Maingot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martial Jenny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teddy Clave, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teddy Clave fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martial Jenny having to interfere. After 96 minutes of play, Rochère's Sébastien Fanton made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martial Jenny was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rochère walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
