Daryl Tuffery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivier Clemot, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Romain Albouy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Olivier Clemot came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Haillan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olivier Clemot couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olivier Clemot in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daryl Tuffery saved Démouville from getting behind. Laurent Guinaudeau was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Moise Heyraud capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Moise Heyraud really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olivier Clemot in the 43rd minute of play forced Démouville's goalkeeper Daryl Tuffery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olivier Clemot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daryl Tuffery having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moise Heyraud to make the kick off. Victor Tourrette charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Tourrette the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Romain Albouy struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Laurent Guinaudeau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Démouville. Olivier Clemot struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Laurent Guinaudeau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romain Albouy in the 85th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
