Francois Auroux was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 18 played minutes Talant got a freekick which was hit by Roman Capdevielle. Bixente Chaumette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amine Maier having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anatole Riera during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Cénac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anatole Riera to maneuver through the defense. Ludovic Vallette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francois Auroux having to interfere. With a little luck, Cénac's Amine Maier got control of the ball when Bixente Chaumette tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bixente Chaumette got free with Amine Maier in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sébastian Vesin in the 40th minute of play forced Talant's goalkeeper Francois Auroux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Cénac were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zinedine Saint Martin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ludovic Vallette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zinedine Saint Martin in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amine Maier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Cénac defense, Bixente Chaumette kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amine Maier. The Cénac fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amine Maier should have stopped the shot. If Ludovic Vallette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes, Cénac's Robin Bouquet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francois Auroux came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cénac reached it. Bixente Chaumette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Amine Maier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
