Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jean-Charles Nail took the kick off in the first half of the match. Perpignan's Louison Rosset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominique Le Tallec in the 3rd minute of play. Dominique Le Tallec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Louison Rosset tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Serge Mazeau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean-Marc Piau was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Chanonat's Tim Roblot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Chanonat from getting a goal against them. Ronald Laumonier struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Tim Roblot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perpignan. In the 25th minute Dominique Le Tallec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louison Rosset saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Perpignan's Ronald Laumonier got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Chanonat got a freekick which was hit by Serge Mazeau. 33 minutes into the match, Perpignan's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Charles Nail came free, but Louison Rosset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dominique Le Tallec's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Louison Rosset read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Perpignan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarod Revel to maneuver through the defense. Brice Sallet was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Ronald Laumonier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jarod Delcambre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tim Roblot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronald Laumonier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Chanonat booed when Perpignan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Ravard didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Perpignan's Ronald Laumonier in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chanonat's goalie prevented a goal. In the 67th minute, Dominique Le Tallec left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chanonat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Louison Rosset didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominique Le Tallec went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 81stth minute of the game Jarod Delcambre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chanonat's Tim Roblot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Guy Dumaine was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perpignan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chanonat the free kick. In the 85th minute, Jean-Charles Nail reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Louison Rosset. The goal made the score 1-3. Tim Roblot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Laumonier in the 90th minute of play. Jarod Delcambre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Chanonat defense, Ronald Laumonier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tim Roblot. The Chanonat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tim Roblot should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chanonat had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
