Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Noe Le Bars started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Noe Le Bars sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ronald Laumonier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Chapelle's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Laumonier came free, but Daryl Gayot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daryl Gayot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jarod Delcambre in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronald Laumonier in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daryl Gayot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Louison Rosset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Michel Henaff in the 25th minute of play. Jean-Michel Henaff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Louison Rosset tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Michel Henaff in the 34th minute of play forced Perpignan's goalkeeper Louison Rosset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronald Laumonier was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronald Laumonier in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daryl Gayot saved Chapelle from getting behind. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronald Laumonier was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Perpignan's Ronald Laumonier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daryl Gayot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Noe Le Bars sped through Perpignan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Louison Rosset. Perpignan's Louison Rosset proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Perpignan from getting a goal against them. Ronald Laumonier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Perpignan booed when Chapelle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Baudot didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 played minutes Chapelle got a freekick which was hit by Theo Baudot. Ronald Laumonier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daryl Gayot having to interfere. Noe Le Bars recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Jean-Michel Henaff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chapelle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Michel Henaff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Chapelle's Jean-Michel Henaff sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Louison Rosset narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chapelle's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
