One of Reichstett:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Meurchin:s goal. The referee gave Meurchin a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Stéphane Larousse, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Reichstett's Eugène Le Moël. 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Jolan Chanel made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Rayanne Dupuich sent off a good shot on target. When Kevan Bouchot came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Reichstett fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevan Bouchot couldn't finish the play. After 68 minutes, Rayanne Dupuich mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reichstett and the Meurchin players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Reichstett getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Rayanne Dupuich hit a great ball. Stéphane Larousse charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stéphane Larousse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stéphane Larousse kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match.
