Denain's Arnold Retailleau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Baptiste Brohan in the 6th minute of play. If Maximilien Malki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jeremy Ulrich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute Timothé Garrec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Bianconi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremy Ulrich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 0-1 became the score in the 18th minute when Jean-Baptiste Brohan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Vrière getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Edmond Duport hit a great ball. Edmond Duport blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnold Retailleau having to make a save. Jeremy Ulrich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnold Retailleau having to interfere. Fernand Rohmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Mathias Bianconi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernand Rohmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Bianconi having to interfere. Mathias Bianconi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernand Rohmer went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 37 minutes into the match, Denain's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Baptiste Brohan came free, but Arnold Retailleau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Mathias Bianconi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timothé Garrec in the 53rd minute of the match. Denain's Arnold Retailleau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Denain from getting a goal against them. When Donatien Beaulieu fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vrière's protests and gave Donatien Beaulieu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Denain's Richard Ramdani got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Jean-Michel Ruby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jean-Baptiste Brohan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Arnold Retailleau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Bianconi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernand Rohmer in the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Maximilien Malki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donatien Beaulieu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnold Retailleau having to interfere. Jean-Baptiste Brohan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnold Retailleau having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vrière had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
