The supporters of Montlignon booed when Vaugrigneuse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thibaut Moulet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Daniel Le Guellec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean-Michel Coiffier was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martial Creteur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jolan Joulain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordy Cahu in the 55th minute of the match. Vaugrigneuse's Jolan Joulain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martial Creteur in the 56th minute of play. Daniel Le Guellec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Michel Coiffier having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martial Creteur in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jolan Joulain saved Vaugrigneuse from getting behind. Martial Creteur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jolan Joulain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martial Creteur in the 73rd minute of play forced Vaugrigneuse's goalkeeper Jolan Joulain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Vaugrigneuse getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Brandon Fauconnier hit a great ball. Martial Creteur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jolan Joulain read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Montlignon were furious when Michel Abeille was red carded, 81 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Montlignon:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vaugrigneuse:s goal. The goalkeeper, Jean-Michel Coiffier, was totally fooled by Vaugrigneuse's Daniel Finck, who 83 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Jules Coutier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jules Coutier struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. A wasted opportunity for Vaugrigneuse. 96 minutes into the game, Ewan Labatut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montlignon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vaugrigneuse the free kick. In the 97th minute, Ewan Labatut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Daniel Le Guellec came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Vaugrigneuse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Le Guellec couldn't finish the play. The Montlignon fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vaugrigneuse were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
