Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joël Grellier made the kick off which started today's match. If Dove Pheulpin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Quentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Quentel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Allan Quentel in the 17th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Serge Gambier kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After 24 played minutes Betton got a freekick which was hit by Karl Dalmas. Dove Pheulpin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Brice Clamens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Betton's supporters rose to their feet, but Brice Clamens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samir Barberis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brice Clamens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samir Barberis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Franz Sapin kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Brice Clamens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Samir Barberis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Betton defense, Dove Pheulpin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serge Gambier. The Betton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serge Gambier should have stopped the shot.
The wind increased when Allan Quentel made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Allan Quentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serge Gambier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thibault Descombes hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Brice Clamens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Samir Barberis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Beigneux's zone, Joël Grellier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samir Barberis came out of the goal and Joël Grellier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joël Grellier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Samir Barberis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Betton's goal looked a bit too open when Dove Pheulpin came free, but Serge Gambier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Joël Grellier made a precise shot to the right of Samir Barberis. Beigneux's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Samir Barberis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joël Grellier in the 88th minute of the match. Brice Clamens was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. Betton's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
