Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lorenzo Pontet made the kick off which started today's match. Garavan's Terry Jean-Baptiste suffered a sore thigh after 3 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilan Lavalette during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th minute, Ilan Lavalette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damien Briend in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Morgan Champetier, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eaubonne's Armand Hennequin got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute Lorenzo Pontet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Herzog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Eaubonne booed when Garavan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulysse Defosse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimmy Herzog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Pontet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Damien Briend had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Guilhot kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Armand Hennequin kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Garavan defense, Lorenzo Pontet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimmy Herzog. The Garavan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimmy Herzog should have stopped the shot. The Garavan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Eaubonne were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damien Briend stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jimmy Herzog made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armand Hennequin in the 57th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lorenzo Pontet in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmy Herzog prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute, Eaubonne's Lorenzo Pontet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jimmy Herzog. Jimmy Herzog yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Armand Hennequin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 92 minutes of play Eaubonne's Ilan Lavalette was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Garavan booed when Eaubonne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilan Lavalette didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 97 minutes, Damien Briend mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garavan and the Eaubonne players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Eaubonne eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
