Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when François-Xavier Liger got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Beau Soleil getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Hercule Lecourt hit a great ball. The supporters of Willems booed when Beau Soleil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salim Bares didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rachid Merlaud came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Willems fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rachid Merlaud couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the game, Salim Bares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beau Soleil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Willems the free kick. A collision led to Beau Soleil getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Salim Bares hit a great ball. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Willems's goalkeeper Émile Marie-Louise, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Salim Bares put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Émile Marie-Louise. Clovis Savina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rachid Merlaud in the 29th minute of play. If Salim Bares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st match minute, Willems was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morgan Deslandes to maneuver through the defense. François-Xavier Liger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Clovis Savina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Joaquim Lambolez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Émile Marie-Louise. That made the score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in Willems's zone, Salim Bares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Émile Marie-Louise came out of the goal and Salim Bares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquim Lambolez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Willems's François-Xavier Liger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clovis Savina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 66 played minutes Willems got a freekick which was hit by Corentin Lacouture. Joaquim Lambolez might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Émile Marie-Louise. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquim Lambolez ran back to his position shaking his head. Émile Marie-Louise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Lambolez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Joaquim Lambolez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Émile Marie-Louise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Lambolez in the 75th minute of play. Didier Welter hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. François-Xavier Liger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by François-Xavier Liger in the 84th minute of play forced Beau Soleil's goalkeeper Clovis Savina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Rachid Merlaud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Willems's supporters rose to their feet, but Rachid Merlaud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clovis Savina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salim Bares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Émile Marie-Louise having to interfere. Désiré Point charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Désiré Point the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Willems! In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Beau Soleil. Nolan Prince stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Émile Marie-Louise. 3-1. Willems's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
