Erwan Mear made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Gregory Cossec sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregory Cossec got free with Erwan Mear in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute Jacob Lathiere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blaise Meheust saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Calvin Diop was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Larnod's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Froidcul the free kick. In the 11th minute, one of Larnod:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Larnod. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Lathiere in the 16th minute of play forced Larnod's goalkeeper Blaise Meheust to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erwan Mear stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eloi Evanno's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Eloi Evanno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Froidcul's Erwan Mear got control of the ball when Gregory Cossec tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blaise Meheust showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gildas Dalleau, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.
