Gregory Cossec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Charles-Henri Pauleau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Larnod's Eloi Evanno got a free kick in the 20th minute. Gregory Cossec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Perrier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Noel Santucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sam Brahim might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blaise Meheust. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sam Brahim ran back to his position shaking his head. Sam Brahim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaise Meheust having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloi Evanno in the 43rd minute of play forced Villepey's goalkeeper Noel Santucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentin Perrier was the one to do the kick off. Sam Prioul kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Gregory Cossec struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Noel Santucci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Larnod. After a defensive mix-up in Villepey's zone, Gregory Cossec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Santucci came out of the goal and Gregory Cossec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sam Brahim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Brahim in the 70th minute of play forced Larnod's goalkeeper Blaise Meheust to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blaise Meheust stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charles-Henri Pauleau's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Larnod's Blaise Meheust played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles-Henri Pauleau in the 78th minute of play. Charles-Henri Pauleau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Villepey's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Valentin Perrier scored to the left of an out of position Noel Santucci, making the score, 0-2. 92 minutes into the match, Larnod's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Brahim came free, but Blaise Meheust reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregory Cossec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Noel Santucci made a huge save. If Charles-Henri Pauleau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Larnod eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
