Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Froidcul's Gildas Dalleau started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Froidcul's Erwan Mear got control of the ball when Charles-Henri Pauleau tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10thth minute of the game Sam Brahim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Froidcul's Erwan Mear was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 14 minutes, Gildas Dalleau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Froidcul and the Villepey players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gildas Dalleau hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Froidcul's zone, Charles-Henri Pauleau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erwan Mear came out of the goal and Charles-Henri Pauleau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Villepey's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Lathiere came free, but Noel Santucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Villepey's Noel Santucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gildas Dalleau in the 23rd minute of play. Sam Brahim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gildas Dalleau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Noel Santucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Jacob Lathiere managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Froidcul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacob Lathiere was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Froidcul defense, Sam Brahim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erwan Mear. The Froidcul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erwan Mear should have stopped the shot. Jean Bouvard hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.
The wind increased when Sam Brahim made the kick off in the second half. Noel Santucci was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alexis Bonamy. Charles-Henri Pauleau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwan Mear having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Froidcul's zone, Sam Brahim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erwan Mear came out of the goal and Sam Brahim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigue Delangle charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigue Delangle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erwan Mear showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles-Henri Pauleau, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Froidcul's goalkeeper Erwan Mear, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Noel Santucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildas Dalleau in the 78th minute of the match. Jacob Lathiere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Noel Santucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jacob Lathiere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Villepey's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
