In the 11th minute, Albert Mouchel made a precise shot to the right of Joffrey Villiers. Cimiez's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Cimiez's Donald Bouchet got a free kick in the 14th minute. When Albert Mouchel fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paillade's protests and gave Albert Mouchel a yellow card for diving instead. Paillade's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Donald Bouchet 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. If Jean-Pierre Rebeyrol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cimiez's zone, Jolan Granier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joffrey Villiers came out of the goal and Jolan Granier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albert Mouchel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Joffrey Villiers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Donald Bouchet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jolan Granier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joe Placide hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albert Mouchel to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Cimiez got a freekick which was hit by Joe Placide. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean-Pierre Rebeyrol in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eymeric Guesnon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Bouchet in the 57th minute of play forced Paillade's goalkeeper Eymeric Guesnon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes of play, Cimiez's Jean-Pierre Rebeyrol made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eymeric Guesnon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paillade's Eymeric Guesnon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Pierre Rebeyrol in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute Albert Mouchel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joffrey Villiers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Philibert Baylet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joffrey Villiers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jolan Audic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Jolan Granier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paillade's supporters rose to their feet, but Jolan Granier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joffrey Villiers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 87 minutes, Albert Mouchel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paillade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Mouchel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florent Hamilcaro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Philibert Baylet's late challenge caught a Paillade's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Philibert Baylet helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Cimiez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philibert Baylet to maneuver through the defense.
