Jean-Yves Rabineau helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, Trilport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Yves Rabineau to maneuver through the defense. Andre Reiter took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martin Galland. Trilport's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Clouange booed when Trilport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramzy Pichon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Trilport fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Clouange. Martin Galland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Jore, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Trilport's Martin Galland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Audouy in the 24th minute of play. After some careless play in the Trilport defense, Paulo Jore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Galland. The Trilport fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Galland should have stopped the shot. Martin Galland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Audouy in the 31st minute of the match. Yazid Ferrara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregoire Le Louarn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Clouange's goalkeeper Gregoire Le Louarn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yazid Ferrara. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Donald Nuss put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gregoire Le Louarn. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Yazid Ferrara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trilport's supporters rose to their feet, but Yazid Ferrara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregoire Le Louarn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Trilport getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ramzy Pichon hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute of the match Andre Reiter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Galland showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
Clement Sabathier might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Galland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clement Sabathier ran back to his position shaking his head. Mathias Audouy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Galland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Paulo Jore made a precise shot to the right of Martin Galland. Trilport's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 66 minutes into the game, Trilport's Yazid Ferrara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gregoire Le Louarn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After having played for 74 minutes, Yazid Ferrara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trilport's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yazid Ferrara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Paulo Jore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donald Nuss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregoire Le Louarn having to interfere. Clouange's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
