Nicolas Gouet was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 7th minute. Ramponnet's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Guy Bourree had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Vrière getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Dilan Mège hit a great ball. Erwin Bourasseau was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A hard shot 20 in the game by Guy Bourree from a close distance when the talented Billy Le Fevre managed to make a qualified save. Vrière's players were relieved. Ramponnet's Joey Soriano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armand Ryckewaert in the 22nd minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match, Nicolas Gouet tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Billy Le Fevre saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luc Claire in the 30th minute of play forced Ramponnet's goalkeeper Joey Soriano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joey Soriano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armand Ryckewaert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierre-Antoine Gerbier's late challenge caught a Vrière's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pierre-Antoine Gerbier helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ramponnet getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Pierre-Antoine Gerbier hit a great ball. Vrière's Tim Lavoisier couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ramponnet. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Guy Bourree managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramponnet's supporters rose to their feet, but Guy Bourree was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billy Le Fevre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicolas Gouet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Billy Le Fevre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guy Bourree got free with Billy Le Fevre in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Tim Lavoisier kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Ramponnet's Erwin Bourasseau broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Billy Le Fevre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Gouet in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Vrière's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Gouet came free, but Billy Le Fevre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Guy Bourree had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Gouet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Billy Le Fevre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pierre-Antoine Gerbier was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. Pierre-Antoine Gerbier hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When Emeric Buis came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ramponnet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emeric Buis couldn't finish the play. In the 98th minute, Guy Bourree got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Ramponnet lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
