Courçay's Felix Coat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan Jehl in the 7th minute of play. Louison Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Coat having to interfere. Louison Rossi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Coat having to make a save. Louison Rossi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Felix Coat made a huge save. Louison Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Courçay's zone, Louison Rossi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Coat came out of the goal and Louison Rossi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Coat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Jehl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Bixente Monin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Loizeau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Ryan Jehl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Felix Coat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sammy Trichard's late challenge caught a Courçay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sammy Trichard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Montferrand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sammy Trichard to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Bernard Reant suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Montferrand's Ryan Jehl got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Coat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Bixente Monin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Rodrigo Loizeau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Courçay booed when Montferrand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sammy Trichard didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Louison Rossi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Coat was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 68th minute Ryan Jehl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Coat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
