Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yohann Robles started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Corbière got free with José Bourgogne in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martigues's Yohann Robles got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th match minute, Martigues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Éric Raclot to maneuver through the defense. Martigues's José Bourgogne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspard Doisy in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Gaspard Doisy fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of José Bourgogne, passed just outside the right post. Pierrick Diawara struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Ramzy Poinas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martigues. 19 minutes into the match, Monteloup's goal looked a bit too open when Yohann Robles came free, but Ramzy Poinas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If André Corbière had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Martigues's Éric Raclot got a free kick in the 24th minute. Rodrigue Piriou was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yohann Robles in the 28th minute of play forced Monteloup's goalkeeper Ramzy Poinas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Pierrick Diawara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martigues's Pierrick Diawara got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 44 played minutes Monteloup got a freekick which was hit by Mehdi Lhôte. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Gaspard Doisy made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Yohann Robles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Martigues's supporters rose to their feet, but Yohann Robles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramzy Poinas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gaspard Doisy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean-Pierre Raffin kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Pierrick Diawara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Ramzy Poinas made a huge save. Pierrick Diawara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramzy Poinas having to interfere. Yohann Robles struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ramzy Poinas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martigues. In the 72nd minute, Ewan Baudrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Corbière received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. José Bourgogne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Martigues got a freekick which was hit by Elias Aubree. Pierrick Diawara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Martigues getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Madjid Sénécal hit a great ball. Monteloup's Gaspard Doisy got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Bourgogne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Corbière in the 92nd minute of play. Rodrigue Piriou did an outstanding performance 97 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-0 to the right of an irritated José Bourgogne in the goal.
