Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the game, Augustin Souchon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brindas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pompignac the free kick. In the 5th minute, Augustin Souchon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Paul-Henri Lebourgeois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Paul-Henri Lebourgeois managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pompignac's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul-Henri Lebourgeois was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierre-Emmanuel Pottiez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augustin Souchon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ronald Gonnot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Daryl Cotten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronald Gonnot was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Pierre-Emmanuel Pottiez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Geronimi, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Pompignac's Ronald Gonnot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Pompignac from getting a goal against them. Brindas's Pierre-Emmanuel Pottiez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Geronimi in the 38th minute of play. Daryl Cotten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Gonnot having to interfere. Igor Geronimi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Augustin Souchon made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Brindas getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Augustin Souchon hit a great ball. In the 56th match minute, Pompignac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrice Tranchant to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Pompignac getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Nolan Piard hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Jordy Finet sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pompignac's Ronald Gonnot didn't even have to move. Augustin Souchon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Gonnot having to interfere. Augustin Souchon might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronald Gonnot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augustin Souchon ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute, Paul-Henri Lebourgeois made a precise shot to the right of Pierre-Emmanuel Pottiez. Brindas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Augustin Souchon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augustin Souchon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Gonnot having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Igor Geronimi could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Pierre-Emmanuel Pottiez however easily saved by the left post. Augustin Souchon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronald Gonnot having to make a save. Despite being the better team, Brindas failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
