Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Franklin Sissoko started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Nerthe booed when Carcot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martial Bringuier didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Hubert Torre made a precise shot to the right of Ferdinand Schilling. Carcot's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nerthe's Yves Riehl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Sissoko in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Carcot! Ferdinand Schilling had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Igor Sevin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Lequien in the 18th minute of play forced Nerthe's goalkeeper Yves Riehl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nerthe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Franklin Sissoko scored to the left of an out of position Yves Riehl, making the score, 1-1. Alfred Éloi hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Igor Sevin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ferdinand Schilling. Carcot's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Franklin Sissoko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmid Brayer got free with Yves Riehl in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basile Lamboley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Nerthe's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Sissoko came free, but Yves Riehl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Nerthe's goalkeeper Yves Riehl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmid Brayer. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hubert Torre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Basile Lamboley hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ahmid Brayer struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Yves Riehl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carcot. Desire Jamain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferdinand Schilling read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Franklin Sissoko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yves Riehl having to interfere. Joel Lyon hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 69 played minutes, Carcot's Achille Doudet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yves Riehl came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carcot reached it. Desire Jamain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferdinand Schilling having to make a save. Nerthe's Yves Riehl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Sissoko in the 75th minute of play. Yves Riehl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin Sissoko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Nerthe's zone, Franklin Sissoko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yves Riehl came out of the goal and Franklin Sissoko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hubert Torre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Schilling having to interfere. Ferdinand Schilling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Desire Jamain in the 83rd minute. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nerthe! Desire Jamain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sébastian Billion fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carcot's protests and gave Sébastian Billion a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Carcot had won after a very even match.
