Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dimitri Ducret started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Pompignac booed when Bezons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Lager didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pompignac's Dimitri Ducret in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bezons's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Mohamed Thauvin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bezons's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Thauvin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Brouillard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 0-1 became the score in the 25th minute when Mohamed Thauvin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 29th minute Dimitri Ducret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jules Sauvetre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimitri Ducret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jules Sauvetre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jules Sauvetre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitri Ducret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Lager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mohamed Thauvin was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loic Fabbri in the 57th minute of play forced Bezons's goalkeeper Jules Sauvetre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bezons's zone, Dimitri Ducret stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jules Sauvetre came out of the goal and Dimitri Ducret tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th match minute, Bezons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheo Cade to maneuver through the defense. Guy Gillot was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, Patrick Lager got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mohamed Thauvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the game, Madjid Rauscher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bezons's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pompignac the free kick. Madjid Rauscher kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Noel Brouillard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Thauvin in the 86th minute of the match. If Loic Fabbri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jules Sauvetre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loic Fabbri in the 90th minute of play. Jules Sauvetre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitri Ducret in the 91st minute of the match. Patrick Lager received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Noel Brouillard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bezons eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
