Sarcenat's Gaetan Lasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hocine Perbet in the 34th minute of play. Hippolyte Jousse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Noel Brouillard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Sarcenat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hippolyte Jousse to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Loic Fabbri got free with Gaetan Lasson in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loic Fabbri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaetan Lasson having to make a save. In the 48th minute, Hippolyte Jousse left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sarcenat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hippolyte Jousse made a kick off. Dimitri Ducret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gaetan Lasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guy Gillot made a great header on Pompignac's corner, it was just that Sarcenat's Gaetan Lasson managed to reach the ball for a save. After 64 played minutes, Pompignac's Guy Gillot shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gaetan Lasson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pompignac reached it. Jason Grolleau's late challenge caught a Pompignac's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jason Grolleau helped the player get up and apologised. Jason Grolleau kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Sarcenat's Gaetan Lasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loic Fabbri in the 66th minute of play. Hippolyte Jousse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Brouillard having to interfere. Loic Fabbri struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Gaetan Lasson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pompignac. A collision led to Pompignac getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ferdinand Charpy hit a great ball. Hippolyte Jousse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jason Grolleau was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 1-3 became the score in the 88th minute when Dimitri Ducret elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Walter Friant struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Noel Brouillard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarcenat. Gaetan Lasson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitri Ducret's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute Loic Fabbri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaetan Lasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 98 minutes into the game, Baptiste Mathy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pompignac's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarcenat the free kick. In the 98th minute, Baptiste Mathy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
