Eymeric Larroque made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Vallières's Franklin Bourgoin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Vallières from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Erhard in the 18th minute of play forced Vallières's goalkeeper Franklin Bourgoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Erhard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Bourgoin having to interfere. In the 25th minute Valentin Erhard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Bourgoin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Valentin Erhard came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Reiningue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Erhard couldn't finish the play. Vallières's Franklin Bourgoin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Vallières from getting a goal against them. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Reiningue's Valentin Erhard in the 34th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Franklin Bourgoin was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Vallières through an amazing save. Eymeric Larroque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desire Carry, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Erhard in the 47th minute of play forced Vallières's goalkeeper Franklin Bourgoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paul Oswald was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes Vallières got a freekick which was hit by John Lepreux. Franklin Bourgoin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Erhard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reiningue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vallières the free kick. After a rather tough play, Reiningue's Isaac Fuster got a free kick in the 58th minute. Franklin Bourgoin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Erhard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Reiningue getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Dorian Mayen hit a great ball. Eymeric Larroque made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Desire Carry sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute of the match Reynald Linares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eymeric Larroque showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 74thth minute of the game Valentin Erhard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vallières's Franklin Bourgoin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Réda Faux hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Franklin Bourgoin came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Reiningue's Valentin Erhard. But to his dismay, Valentin Erhard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Charles Brahimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franklin Bourgoin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Brahimi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
