In the 3rdth minute of the game Charlie Ehrhart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vallières's Franklin Bourgoin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Desire Carry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Bertrand Marti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertrand Marti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Lepreux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romuald Douillet in the 12th minute of play forced Vallières's goalkeeper Franklin Bourgoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vallières's goalkeeper Franklin Bourgoin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vallières's Carlos Marette got a free kick in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Donald Cany managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gagny's supporters rose to their feet, but Donald Cany was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franklin Bourgoin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the match, Gagny's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Oswald came free, but Bertrand Marti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Vallières's goal looked a bit too open when Romuald Douillet came free, but Franklin Bourgoin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franklin Bourgoin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romuald Douillet in the 27th minute of play. Karim Raguet's late challenge caught a Gagny's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karim Raguet helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Karim Raguet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Charlie Ehrhart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes of play, Gagny's Donald Nicolas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franklin Bourgoin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Desire Carry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Bertrand Marti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paul Oswald to make the kick off. Donald Nicolas hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 1-1 became the score in the 58th minute when Desire Carry elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Vallières's Franklin Bourgoin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Ehrhart in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Fabrice Plaisance hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th match minute, Gagny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ghislain Perie to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charlie Ehrhart during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute, Charlie Ehrhart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gagny! In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Vallières. Reynald Linares stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bertrand Marti. 2-1. When Charlie Ehrhart came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Gagny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Ehrhart couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Vallières's zone, Charlie Ehrhart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franklin Bourgoin came out of the goal and Charlie Ehrhart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franklin Bourgoin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Ehrhart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franklin Bourgoin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Ehrhart in the 97th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vallières had won after a very even match.
