Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jim Haller kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Armand Arzel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Dove Picaut kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erwann Beaudoux. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Erwann Beaudoux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Haller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dove Picaut got free with Erwann Beaudoux in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute, Jim Haller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Pusignan's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Haller came free, but Erwann Beaudoux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dove Picaut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Erwann Beaudoux made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Armand Arzel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pusignan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Abscon's Dove Picaut got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tom Agier's late challenge caught a Pusignan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tom Agier helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Abscon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Agier to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Abscon's Dove Picaut sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erwann Beaudoux narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Arnold Vernhes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Guinet was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Arnold Vernhes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Guinet having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pusignan's Jordy Cazeaux got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Erwann Beaudoux made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dove Picaut in the 46th minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnold Vernhes was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Abscon's zone, Arnold Vernhes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Guinet came out of the goal and Arnold Vernhes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 54 played minutes Abscon got a freekick which was hit by Hamid Chomat. In the 55th minute, Arnold Vernhes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 57th minute Arnold Vernhes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Guinet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Jim Haller notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Pusignan's Erwann Beaudoux. Erwann Beaudoux was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnold Vernhes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Manuel Guinet 66 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abscon's goalkeeper Manuel Guinet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manuel Guinet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnold Vernhes in the 76th minute of the match. When Pusignan's Arnold Vernhes in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abscon's goalie prevented a goal. Tom Agier kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Armand Arzel struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Manuel Guinet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pusignan. After a rather tough play, Pusignan's Arnold Vernhes got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 93rd match minute, Pusignan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathan Desbois to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Pusignan's zone, Dove Picaut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erwann Beaudoux came out of the goal and Dove Picaut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
