Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Étienne Jubin started the match with the kick off. Fatines's Mourad Grapin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jules Marimoutou in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Cazier in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mourad Grapin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Igor Delfosse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominique Le Calvez having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Delfosse got free with Dominique Le Calvez in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jules Marimoutou hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Igor Delfosse had several of the Lillers's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Dominique Le Calvez as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 27th minute, Walter Devèze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 31 minutes, Igor Delfosse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fatines's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Delfosse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adil Alibert was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th match minute, Fatines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adil Alibert to maneuver through the defense. Martial Goudard kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Étienne Jubin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mourad Grapin having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Lillers's Felix Cazier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mourad Grapin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fatines were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after Lillers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Walter Foury took the corner. Fatines's Walter Foury was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dominique Le Calvez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Delfosse to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Fatines's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Martial Goudard fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Felix Cazier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fatines's goalkeeper Mourad Grapin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Igor Delfosse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dominique Le Calvez was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Étienne Jubin in the 69th minute of play forced Fatines's goalkeeper Mourad Grapin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathys Moyon kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Gérard Clément was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Igor Delfosse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominique Le Calvez having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Igor Delfosse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fatines's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Delfosse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominique Le Calvez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Felix Cazier came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Lillers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Cazier couldn't finish the play.
