Jerome Buet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didier Becard in the 7th minute of play forced Guessier's goalkeeper Karim Papon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Didier Becard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 played minutes Guessier got a freekick which was hit by Francois Legros. Marcel Levesque charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcel Levesque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 11 minutes into the game, one of Guessier:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Guy Bellin shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Guessier's Karim Papon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didier Becard in the 15th minute of play. Didier Becard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Karim Papon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Constantin Guyomar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guessier's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bouilladisse the free kick. Constantin Guyomar kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Bouilladisse's Oscar Janin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Christophe Bentz in the 24th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Didier Becard fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Karim Papon, passed just outside the right post. 42 minutes into the match, Bouilladisse's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Bardy came free, but Oscar Janin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Didier Becard to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Didier Becard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bouilladisse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Didier Becard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bouilladisse's Jerome Buet in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guessier's goalie prevented a goal. 57 minutes in the game, Jerome Buet dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Guessier's goal looked a bit too open when Didier Becard came free, but Karim Papon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Guessier's Jean-Christophe Bentz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Janin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Bouilladisse getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Guy Bellin hit a great ball. Jean-Christophe Bentz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerome Buet in the 79th minute of play forced Guessier's goalkeeper Karim Papon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Thierry Bardy reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oscar Janin. The goal made the score 0-2. When Francois Legros fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guessier's protests and gave Francois Legros a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st match minute, Guessier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francois Legros to maneuver through the defense.
