Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Willy Picault started the match with the kick off. If Nathan Brossier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathan Brossier in the 15th minute of play forced Rouvignies's goalkeeper Basile Boue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Florent Detrez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rouvignies's supporters rose to their feet, but Florent Detrez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Mauvais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Willy Picault received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jonathan Mauvais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Willy Picault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nathan Brossier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salle's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Willy Picault 38 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nathan Brossier to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Willy Picault's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Mauvais was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. With a little luck, Rouvignies's Basile Boue got control of the ball when Marouane Marcou tried to sneak it across the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Rouvignies's goalkeeper Basile Boue had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marouane Marcou. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rouvignies fans cheered their team off the field, for while Salle had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
