Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Faustin Saussereau kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Cuinchy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustin Saussereau to maneuver through the defense. Vivien Poitevin kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Yoann Ramond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henri Dupeyron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Junior Grau made a huge save. After having played for 20 minutes, Yoann Ramond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thivencelle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yoann Ramond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustin Saussereau in the 24th minute of play forced Thivencelle's goalkeeper Junior Grau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henri Dupeyron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Junior Grau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Thivencelle's goal looked a bit too open when Faustin Saussereau came free, but Junior Grau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henri Dupeyron might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Junior Grau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henri Dupeyron ran back to his position shaking his head. Junior Grau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustin Saussereau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Junior Grau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustin Saussereau, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Leroy to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Yoann Ramond managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thivencelle's supporters rose to their feet, but Yoann Ramond was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc Schmidt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 58 minutes, Robert Leroy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thivencelle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Leroy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faustin Saussereau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Junior Grau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. If Robert Leroy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yoann Ramond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Faustin Saussereau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Junior Grau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yoann Ramond's late challenge caught a Cuinchy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yoann Ramond helped the player get up and apologised. Yoann Ramond kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Junior Grau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustin Saussereau in the 92nd minute of the match. If Robert Leroy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Schmidt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yoann Ramond in the 98th minute. The Thivencelle supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Thivencelle would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
