After a rather tough play, Biot's Sam Ripoll got a free kick in the 7th minute. Barthélémy Vogel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Serge Guyot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nolan Pagnoux during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Biot booed when Quincieux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nolan Pagnoux didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Barthélémy Vogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Mario Godin could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Élie Bouchon however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Biot's zone, Paul Labbé stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Élie Bouchon came out of the goal and Paul Labbé tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paul Labbé succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Élie Bouchon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Labbé's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. With a little luck, Biot's Élie Bouchon got control of the ball when Mario Godin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute Paul Labbé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Élie Bouchon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Biot's zone, Paul Labbé stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Élie Bouchon came out of the goal and Paul Labbé tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serge Guyot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Gambier, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Gambier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Biot's zone, Arnaud Auffret stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Élie Bouchon came out of the goal and Arnaud Auffret tried to chip the ball over his head. Serge Guyot was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 75 minutes, Paul Labbé made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Biot's Élie Bouchon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Barthélémy Vogel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Quincieux's Paul Labbé sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Élie Bouchon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Mario Godin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Barthélémy Vogel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Biot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barthélémy Vogel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Biot's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Godin came free, but Élie Bouchon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paul Labbé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Élie Bouchon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Quincieux had won after a very even match.
