Louison Ménoret started the match with the kick off. When Louison Ménoret came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Rezé fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Louison Ménoret couldn't finish the play. Greg Bidaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Greg Bidaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Léon Mériau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bilal Boudot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léon Mériau having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greg Bidaut in the 13th minute of play forced Rezé's goalkeeper Léon Mériau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes Rezé got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Philippe Azemar. Bilal Boudot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Léon Mériau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Rezé's goal looked a bit too open when Bilal Boudot came free, but Léon Mériau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Léon Mériau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greg Bidaut in the 26th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Louison Ménoret in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henri Galinier saved Fourques from getting behind. In the 30th match minute, Fourques was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harold Le Flem to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Bilal Boudot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th match minute, Rezé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Philippe Azemar to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Rezé booed when Fourques was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harold Le Flem didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Danny Peixoto from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Léon Mériau's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. It was a well-played corner which Bilal Boudot managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Greg Bidaut in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Léon Mériau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute Louison Ménoret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henri Galinier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
