Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edouard Louche kicked off to start the match. Berenger Leblay kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Edouard Louche struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Quentin Pietri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecouen. In the 16th minute Gilbert Pene shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin Pietri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aime Subra hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes Ecouen got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Mottier. If Gaetan Joulie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Theodore Janet came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Illzach fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theodore Janet couldn't finish the play. Aime Subra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ecouen getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Daniel Body hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Gaetan Joulie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Alban Bodier fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecouen's protests and gave Alban Bodier a yellow card for diving instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Theodore Janet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theodore Janet in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronan Lang saved Ecouen from getting behind. After 55 played minutes Illzach got a freekick which was hit by Karl Holleville. 59 minutes into the game, Illzach's Theodore Janet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronan Lang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 62ndth minute of the game Karl Holleville who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecouen's Ronan Lang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ronan Lang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theodore Janet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 minutes of play, Ecouen's Gilbert Pene made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quentin Pietri was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Illzach! 81 minutes into the match, Ecouen's goal looked a bit too open when Theodore Janet came free, but Ronan Lang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Gaetan Joulie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Illzach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaetan Joulie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaetan Joulie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ronan Lang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theodore Janet succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3.
