The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Jacques Andres notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Crezin's Yves Raphael. Yves Raphael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Willy Briatte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Longjumeau's Sofiane Dubouchet suffered a concussion after 12 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justin Platel during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Justin Platel kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Steevy Vigoureux came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Longjumeau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steevy Vigoureux couldn't finish the play. When Willy Briatte fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Longjumeau's protests and gave Willy Briatte a yellow card for diving instead. Yves Raphael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steevy Vigoureux in the 30th minute of the match. Octave Brenon struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Bixente Génoud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crezin. Yves Raphael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steevy Vigoureux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The long shot by Rodrigue Maury in the 39th minute really tested Bixente Génoud's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Jacques Andres fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Longjumeau's protests and gave Jacques Andres a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Longjumeau's Jacques Andres got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 45th minute, Steevy Vigoureux ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yves Raphael was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Octave Brenon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Steevy Vigoureux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Longjumeau's supporters rose to their feet, but Steevy Vigoureux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yves Raphael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Longjumeau's Bixente Génoud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Gombert in the 58th minute of play. Bixente Génoud came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Crezin's Octave Brenon. But to his dismay, Octave Brenon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 64 minutes into the match, Longjumeau's goal looked a bit too open when Octave Brenon came free, but Bixente Génoud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bixente Génoud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octave Brenon in the 69th minute of the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 70th minute, but Yves Raphael got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Crezin hanging dry this time. Camille Gombert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Longjumeau's goal looked a bit too open when Octave Brenon came free, but Bixente Génoud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Moussa Archimbaud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Longjumeau's supporters rose to their feet, but Moussa Archimbaud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yves Raphael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Longjumeau's Bixente Génoud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octave Brenon in the 84th minute of play. Willy Briatte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yves Raphael having to interfere. Steevy Vigoureux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yves Raphael having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Longjumeau's zone, Camille Gombert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bixente Génoud came out of the goal and Camille Gombert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Longjumeau eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
