Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Theo Blomme started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 8 minutes into the game, Romeo Fréchin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marquisat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ternay the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Marquisat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Fréchin to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th match minute, Marquisat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwendal Valero to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Marquisat's zone, Terry Pothier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexis Ébel came out of the goal and Terry Pothier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ternay's Terry Pothier got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Verbrugghe in the 20th minute of play forced Ternay's goalkeeper Patrick Esnault to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Terry Pothier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Ternay's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Verbrugghe came free, but Patrick Esnault reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pascal Roy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Marquisat's goalkeeper Alexis Ébel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascal Roy. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ternay! In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Marquisat. Jonas Landeau stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Patrick Esnault. 0-1. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Terry Pothier got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Vincent Verchere was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 49th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

When Gilbert Verbrugghe came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Marquisat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilbert Verbrugghe couldn't finish the play. Gilbert Verbrugghes short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Patrick Esnault to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Patrick Esnault made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theo Blomme in the 73rd minute of play. Patrick Esnault took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Blomme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Dylan Bouche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Marquisat's zone, Terry Pothier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexis Ébel came out of the goal and Terry Pothier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 98th minute Lucien Blanchot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexis Ébel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 100th minute of the match Igor Garraud shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexis Ébel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Marquisat supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Marquisat would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
