Moussa Bernadet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Batiste Airault tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alain Linossier's late challenge caught a Villard's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alain Linossier helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes Robertsau got a freekick which was hit by Alain Linossier. After a rather tough play, Robertsau's Alain Linossier got a free kick in the 9th minute. If Moussa Bernadet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batiste Airault showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moussa Bernadet, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Gildas Therin charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gildas Therin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marouane Bouvet hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Bérenger Chauvière fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Boulange having to interfere. If Moussa Bernadet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Marouane Bouvet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 minutes of play, Villard's Darren Patry made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romeo Boulange was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Bérenger Chauvière's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romeo Boulange was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moussa Bernadet in the 38th minute of play forced Villard's goalkeeper Batiste Airault to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carl Virlouvet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Batiste Airault made a huge save. After 43 minutes, Darren Patry made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Robertsau's Romeo Boulange tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moussa Bernadet was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Carl Virlouvet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Darren Patry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute of the match, Bérenger Chauvière got a very nice opportunity to score, but Romeo Boulange was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 65th match minute, Robertsau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jolan Ducatel to maneuver through the defense. Darren Patry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Robertsau's goalkeeper Romeo Boulange had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bérenger Chauvière. When Marouane Bouvet fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Robertsau's protests and gave Marouane Bouvet a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Robertsau getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Marouane Bouvet hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes, Villard's Pierre-Louis Hamy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Romeo Boulange came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villard reached it. In the 83rd match minute, Robertsau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gildas Therin to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Pierre-Louis Hamy sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Robertsau's Romeo Boulange didn't even have to move. Romeo Boulange didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darren Patry in the 89th minute of play forced Robertsau's goalkeeper Romeo Boulange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Moussa Bernadet came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Robertsau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moussa Bernadet couldn't finish the play. After having played for 94 minutes, Carl Virlouvet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Robertsau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carl Virlouvet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Villard eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
