Villenoy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vedene the free kick. Djibril Teillet hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. One of Vedene:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Villenoy:s goal. The referee gave Villenoy a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Yannick Bonvallet, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vedene's Axel Zaoui. 3-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rudy Roudet was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Jérémy Girard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villenoy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jérémy Girard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute Rudy Roudet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Zaoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68thth minute of the game Jérémy Girard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vedene's Axel Zaoui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 70 played minutes Villenoy got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Roudet. With a little luck, Villenoy's Felix Becard got control of the ball when Joffrey Baillet tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Vedene's Raoul Reinert in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villenoy's goalie prevented a goal. When Ramzi Lardeau fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vedene's protests and gave Ramzi Lardeau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Yannick Bonvallet sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vedene's Axel Zaoui didn't even have to move. After some careless play in the Villenoy defense, Raoul Reinert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Becard. The Villenoy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Becard should have stopped the shot. Villenoy's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
