Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Charlie Landeau kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Besançon's goal looked a bit too open when Florentin Vassort came free, but Victorien Francois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonin Toupet hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. If Charlie Landeau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jonathan Maupin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charlie Landeau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Alix Achard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alix Achard made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Rudy Bachelier sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Renancourt's zone, Jonathan Maupin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alix Achard came out of the goal and Jonathan Maupin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 played minutes Besançon got a freekick which was hit by Malcom Luis. After 25 played minutes, Renancourt's Paul-Henri Savoie shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victorien Francois came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Renancourt reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Éric Autissier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Renancourt's supporters rose to their feet, but Éric Autissier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorien Francois breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Besançon's zone, Éric Autissier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorien Francois came out of the goal and Éric Autissier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Antonin Toupet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorien Francois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentin Vassort, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 47th minute when Jonathan Maupin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florentin Vassort made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Lorenzo Moussa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alix Achard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Landeau in the 57th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Besançon got a freekick which was hit by Johan Laigneau. 70 minutes into the match, Renancourt's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Maupin came free, but Alix Achard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Renancourt's zone, Jonathan Maupin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alix Achard came out of the goal and Jonathan Maupin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Jonathan Maupin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Besançon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Maupin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Éric Autissier got free with Victorien Francois in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the match, Besançon's goal looked a bit too open when Florentin Vassort came free, but Victorien Francois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charlie Landeau scored 2-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alix Achard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Victorien Francois made an important save on a dangerous shot by Éric Autissier in the 90th minute. Jonathan Maupin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Alix Achard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alix Achard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Landeau in the 97th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Renancourt players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Besançon.
