Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frédéric Deleu got the match started through his kick off. Carlos Saboureau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barnabe Leclaire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Pauleau having to interfere. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Génicourt's goalkeeper Tommy Baran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Frédéric Deleu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mainville's supporters rose to their feet, but Frédéric Deleu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Baran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Merlin Courtel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mainville's supporters rose to their feet, but Merlin Courtel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Baran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Carlos Saboureau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Saboureau made a kick off. After having played for 58 minutes, Arthur Lepetit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Génicourt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arthur Lepetit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Saboureau in the 60th minute of play forced Mainville's goalkeeper Freddy Pauleau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Carlos Saboureau made a precise shot to the right of Freddy Pauleau. Mainville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Merlin Courtel's late challenge caught a Génicourt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Merlin Courtel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Mainville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merlin Courtel to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute Carlos Saboureau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Pauleau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pierrick Blanquet got free with Tommy Baran in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frédéric Deleu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Tommy Baran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Carlos Saboureau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddy Pauleau. Mainville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Saboureau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 93rd minute, Carlos Saboureau made a precise shot to the right of Freddy Pauleau. Mainville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Génicourt's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
