Roman Dubut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentin Giquel in the 4th minute of play. Anthony Hoff hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Florentin Giquel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Dubut having to interfere. After 8 minutes, Denis Birot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colombelles and the Rosière players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Colombelles getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Denis Birot hit a great ball. Djimmy Jousselin hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Roman Dubut was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bob Audoin. Florentin Giquel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bixente Bluteau scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean-Marc Sionneau, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Florentin Perbet charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florentin Perbet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Florentin Perbet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Dubut made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Dan Loche sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute, Dan Loche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rosière fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Dan Loche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Roman Dubut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Colombelles's goal looked a bit too open when Florentin Giquel came free, but Roman Dubut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombelles's Roman Dubut proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Colombelles from getting a goal against them. Dan Loche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Roman Dubut made a huge save. If Dan Loche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florentin Giquel to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Rosière booed when Colombelles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lionel Bacot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Dubut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentin Giquel in the 54th minute of the match. Jean-Marc Sionneau made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Bixente Bluteau sent off a good shot on target. Jean-Marc Sionneau was a little too slow when Bixente Bluteau got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Colombelles's zone, Dan Loche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Dubut came out of the goal and Dan Loche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roman Dubut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentin Giquel in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Colombelles's Bixente Bluteau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean-Marc Sionneau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Gregoire Noyelle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 minutes Rosière's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raymond Ropert who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Colombelles's corner Yannick Tison fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jean-Marc Sionneau quite easily take care of the ball. In the 92nd minute Lilian Coquin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Marc Sionneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Rosière getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Florentin Giquel hit a great ball. Dan Loche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Roman Dubut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Colombelles eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
