A well-hit corner resulted in Ronald Couet heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 26th minute Marc Bonnafoux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berenger Margot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marc Bonnafoux couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the game, Kevin Chaplain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manom's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Osny the free kick. A collision led to Manom getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Manom's Berenger Margot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Manom from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Osny eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
