After a defensive mix-up in Chanteloup's zone, Arnold Fillon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Bourdier came out of the goal and Arnold Fillon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harry Landry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Bourdier having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Harry Landry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roger Gourdon during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Manom's Roger Gourdon got a free kick in the 16th minute. A hard shot by Melvin Dupin from long distance, 24 minutes into the match, got Raphael Bourdier's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 32nd match minute, Manom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Fine to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Pierre Talon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Manom's Berenger Margot. Berenger Margot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnold Fillon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chanteloup's Raphael Bourdier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnold Fillon in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Auguste Lange stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raphael Bourdier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Fine in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 minutes of play, Chanteloup's Pierre Talon made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Berenger Margot was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 62 minutes, Gaetan Devred mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chanteloup and the Manom players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Gaetan Devred hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harry Landry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierre Talon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berenger Margot having to interfere. Pierre Talon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Berenger Margot made a huge save. A collision led to Manom getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jarod Moussier hit a great ball. Auguste Lange recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Manom getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Roger Gourdon hit a great ball. In the 81st minute of the match, Pierre Talon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Berenger Margot was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Harry Landry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Bourdier having to interfere. Berenger Margot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Auguste Lange in the 89th minute of play. Auguste Lange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Manom's Berenger Margot got control of the ball when Pierre Talon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chanteloup's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
