Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mohamed Nesme took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Sabri Maigrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrick Schall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Dauba, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 7 minutes into the match, Lillers's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Dauba came free, but Patrick Schall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelson Ginet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohamed Nesme took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrick Schall. Patrick Schall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Salomon Jaillet didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Lillers's Nelson Ginet shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. 31 minutes into the match, Lillers's Jean-Sébastien Moser sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Salomon Jaillet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mounir Rénier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Salomon Jaillet. Amiens's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Joseph Dauba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliott Cerqueira took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salomon Jaillet. Salomon Jaillet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Patrick Schall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Dauba in the 44th minute of play. Mohamed Nesme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Patrick Schall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nelson Ginet was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Gaetan Pichereau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute of the match Vincent Bodo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Salomon Jaillet skillfully saved the ball. Eliott Cerqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Salomon Jaillet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nelson Ginet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 played minutes, Amiens's Gaetan Pichereau shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patrick Schall came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Amiens reached it. Salomon Jaillet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliott Cerqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Lillers's Nelson Ginet got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Nelson Ginet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salomon Jaillet. Amiens's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nelson Ginet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliott Cerqueira in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salomon Jaillet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Mohamed Nesme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amiens's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Nesme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Schall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henri Touya struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Patrick Schall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amiens. For all the effort they put into the match, the Amiens players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lillers.
