Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Moïse Jousseaume made the kick off which started today's match. Gerard Roche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moïse Jousseaume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerard Roche came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Cavernes's Yvan Hernandez. But to his dismay, Yvan Hernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronald Nollet got free with André Morelle in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Cavernes's André Morelle got control of the ball when Ronald Nollet tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yvan Hernandez in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerard Roche saved Eulmont from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Cavernes's goal looked a bit too open when Julien Mazurier came free, but André Morelle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moïse Jousseaume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gerard Roche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Yvan Hernandez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerard Roche. Eulmont's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yvan Hernandez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Moïse Jousseaume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes, Henri Soyer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eulmont and the Cavernes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cavernes booed when Eulmont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henri Soyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxime Cerf missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 48 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Gerard Roche right hand side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julien Mazurier was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Cesar Godon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute of the match, Moïse Jousseaume tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gerard Roche saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After recieving a nice pass, Eulmont's Cesar Godon tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Yvan Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute Pierre-Olivier Grataloup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerard Roche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henri Soyer hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The Eulmont supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cavernes's performance. The match ended with a win for Cavernes.
