Georges Brossard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildas Menut in the 7th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonard Signoret kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Georges Brossard. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. If Gildas Cabanne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th match minute, Aussonne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Baille to maneuver through the defense. Luc Le Metayer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Boissier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd match minute, Aussonne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Eschbach to maneuver through the defense. Luc Le Metayer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Boissier in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Anthony Eschbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Roland Boissier made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Boissier in the 52nd minute of play forced Aussonne's goalkeeper Luc Le Metayer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Leonard Signoret managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aussonne's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Signoret was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georges Brossard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Georges Brossard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildas Menut in the 58th minute of play. Georges Brossard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Eschbach in the 65th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Leonard Signoret's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Georges Brossard was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Aussonne were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Authie's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliott Lacrouts took the corner. Georges Brossard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gildas Menut, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Gildas Cabanne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luc Le Metayer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Boissier in the 83rd minute of play. Gildas Menut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Georges Brossard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Roland Boissier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luc Le Metayer having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Authie players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Aussonne.
