Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Chevalon's Paulo Delval started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Paulo Delval left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chevalon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Emmanuel Depoorter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Sam Very tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emmanuel Depoorter struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Sam Very didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loos. After 16 minutes, Willy Guignier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chevalon and the Loos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Willy Guignier hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chevalon's goalkeeper Sam Very, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Paulo Delval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Paulo Delval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Marechal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emmanuel Depoorter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Very having to interfere. Salomon Gourlay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Very having to interfere. Prosper Caparros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Marechal having to interfere. With his leg Sam Very managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Loos's Salomon Gourlay fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Paulo Delval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emmanuel Depoorter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastien Herbelin in the 60th minute of play forced Chevalon's goalkeeper Sam Very to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Prosper Caparros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harry Marechal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Chevalon's Joffrey Calvo got a free kick in the 70th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Loos's goalkeeper Harry Marechal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prosper Caparros. Harry Marechal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Delval in the 75th minute of play. Gregory Clero hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Paulo Delval came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Chevalon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Delval couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Paulo Delval got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harry Marechal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Delval, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Paulo Delval struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Harry Marechal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chevalon. Loos's supporters rose to their feet, but Salomon Gourlay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sam Very breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Loos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chevalon were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
