Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Desire Broc made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Bégude's zone, Maurice Nortier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanguy Senez came out of the goal and Maurice Nortier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tanguy Senez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corentin Moutard, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Darren Cazalis hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The long shot by Francois Bevilacqua in the 11th minute really tested Hubert Sage's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 15 minutes into the game, Desire Broc recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hubert Sage. Desire Broc showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Maurice Nortier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Regis Fleureau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Sage having to interfere. Bégude's Regis Fleureau got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maurice Nortier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Tanguy Senez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Turckheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mourad Pion to maneuver through the defense. If Corentin Moutard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Corentin Moutard came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Turckheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corentin Moutard couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Corentin Moutard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Romuald Petitpas's late challenge caught a Bégude's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romuald Petitpas helped the player get up and apologised. Romuald Petitpas kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Desire Broc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Hubert Sage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurice Nortier got free with Tanguy Senez in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Tanguy Senez managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Turckheim's Maurice Nortier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 73 played minutes Turckheim got a freekick which was hit by Romuald Petitpas. In the 78th minute, Francois Bevilacqua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurice Nortier's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Tanguy Senez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Bégude's Arthur Barrois got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When Corentin Moutard came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Turckheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corentin Moutard couldn't finish the play. Turckheim's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
