Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Limoges's Alain Bourrat started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Boris Vives had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Vives in the 11th minute of play forced Limoges's goalkeeper Joris Antonelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudy Compain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boris Vives took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joris Antonelli. Joris Antonelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sylvain Babel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Danny Leydier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alain Bourrat in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danny Leydier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, Boris Vives notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Limoges's Joris Antonelli. Joris Antonelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rudy Compain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Boris Vives cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Joris Antonelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st minute, Mathonex's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Redouane Plaud fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alain Bourrat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Danny Leydier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damien Quiniou struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Danny Leydier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limoges. Redouane Plaud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Rudy Compain made the kick off in the second half. Boris Vives's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Joris Antonelli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Redouane Plaud struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Danny Leydier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limoges. When Brice Farrugia fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mathonex's protests and gave Brice Farrugia a yellow card for diving instead. Brice Farrugia hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Rudy Compain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damien Quiniou kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Boris Vives managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mathonex's supporters rose to their feet, but Boris Vives was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joris Antonelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Rudy Compain came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Mathonex fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudy Compain couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Mathonex getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Nicolas Mosca hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes, Limoges's Jacques Gigant shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Danny Leydier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Limoges reached it. If Redouane Plaud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mathonex had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
